About Donna

Hi, I'm Donna McGeorge

I’m here to shift the way you think about work.

Most of what we call “productivity” is just busyness in disguise, so I help leaders and teams cut the crap, do what matters, and take back time for what really counts.

Why choose me for your next event

If you’re after a one dimensional speaker who’ll politely inspire and quietly exit, you might like to move along. But if you want someone who’ll shake up your thinking, elevate your team, and leave a lasting dent in your productivity problems, I’m your gal.

  • Philosophy: Red Brick Thinking™ flips the script on productivity. Do less,
but better.
  • Real-world results: I’ve worked with Ford, Medibank, Qantas and Nissan across Asia-Pacific. I don’t peddle theory, I deliver results.
  • Bestselling author: 14 books including The 25-Minute Meeting, The First 2 Hours, and The 1-Day Refund. Featured in Forbes, HBR and Fast Company.
  • Not just another speaker: I say the thing no one else will, and your people will thank me for it.

I’m fun, fierce and I get results.

Biography

From theatre tours in the UK, to boardrooms in Shanghai, I’ve done work differently.
I’ve spent decades embedded in big business; Telstra, Ernst & Young, Ford, and emerged with one truth:
Workplaces aren't broken, they're blocked and most of us are stuck solving the wrong problem.

Now, my life’s work is helping people strip back what doesn’t matter and amplify what does. My story is one of unlearning, reinvention, and calling bullsh*t on workplace norms that don’t serve humans.

These days, I run my business from Geelong, Victoria, doing my best thinking over tea with my husband Steve and our dog, Prudence.

Global impact

I’ve delivered keynotes and workshops in 15+ countries, with audiences ranging from 20-person startups to 2,000-strong global conferences.

You might’ve seen me on The Today Show, heard me on radio, or read my work in Harvard Business Review, Forbes, or Fast Company. I cut across industries and borders because broken productivity isn’t just an Aussie problem – it’s everywhere.

How I show up

What makes me different isn’t just the energy (though I bring plenty). It’s the precision, humour and the ability to say hard things in a way that lands.

My sessions aren’t “sit-and-nod” keynotes. They’re interactive, irreverent, and occasionally uncomfortable, in the best possible way.

I don’t just show up and speak, I’ll flip switches and start revolutions. I make complexity look ridiculous and simplicity feel irresistible.

You’ll laugh. You’ll think. You’ll change.
